Shainbas Journey of Self-Discovery in Made in Korea Trailer

Mumbai, March 5: The OTT platform is currently showcasing a variety of stories. Viewers are seeking not just entertainment but narratives they can connect with. In this context, Netflix has released the trailer for its new film, ‘Made in Korea.’ The film narrates the journey of a girl from a small town striving to reach a larger world. The trailer encapsulates emotions, struggles, and the quest for self-identity.

Priyanka Mohan stars in the lead role as Shainba. She is joined by South Korean actors Park Hae-jin and Noh Ho-jin in significant roles.

The trailer opens in a small town in Tamil Nadu, where Shainba lives with her family. She harbors dreams but also experiences hesitation. In a swift transition, she is seen navigating the bustling streets of Seoul, South Korea’s capital. The fast-paced life, unfamiliar language, and strangers present new challenges for her.

Several scenes in the trailer depict Shainba’s anxiety and loneliness. She attempts to adapt to her new surroundings, sometimes getting lost or hesitating to engage with others. However, her confidence gradually grows. New friends enter her life, offering understanding and support. These moments bring a smile to her face as she confronts her fears.

A notable aspect of the film is its portrayal of two distinct cultures. On one side is the familial connection from Tamil Nadu, and on the other, the modern life of Seoul. The trailer illustrates how Shainba balances these two worlds.

Emotional scenes also feature in the film, where she reminisces about home and breaks down in tears, yet refuses to abandon her dreams.

Produced by Rise East Entertainment, the film is directed and written by R. Karthik. ‘Made in Korea’ is set to premiere on Netflix on March 12.
