Bhopal : For the first time in the country, MBBS will be taught in Hindi in Madhya Pradesh. Especially prepared MBBS course books in Hindi language were launched by union Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah announced soon to start engineering studies in Hindi language.
A program ‘Hindi Me Gyan Ka Prakash’ (Light of Knowledge in Hindi) was organised at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Sunday. union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a new era of teaching medical courses through Hindi medium in the country by releasing three books of first year MBBS. Apart from about 30,000 students, experts from the medical and Hindi fields were present in the program.
Home Minister said that today is a very important day for the education sector of India, today will be written in golden letters in history. This is the moment of renaissance and reconstruction of the education sector across the country. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed the resolve of higher education in local languages, which was realised in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He said that today he is grateful to the Prime Minister that in the new education policy, he has emphasised on giving education to children in their mother tongue.
He said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has done a historic work by starting medical studies in Hindi. He said that in the era of slavery, the British made arrangements for brain drain of India’s talents, which has now been converted into brain grain by Prime Minister Modi. Children’s talents will be further enhanced by education in their own language, he said, for this, he congratulated the Chief Minister, Medical Education Minister for the innovative effort.
Union Minister Shah said that eight languages are being taught across the country. For those who are supporters of mother tongue in medical and engineering, today is a very important day. He said that now everyone will get education in their own language. He said that it was mentioned in the manifesto of the party in the election of MP, first of all, MP has brought the new education policy on the ground for this Hindi cell was formed.
He said that after the survey, the books were released after a lot of hard work. That the process of thinking takes place in one’s own mother tongue. National Mandela said that if one talks to a person in that language, it goes into his mind. The youth of India are no less than anyone if research is done in their own language, he added.
He said that after medical, engineering studies would also start in Hindi. Engineering studies will start in eight languages of the country, he informed, for this the work of translation of syllabus has started. After six months, there will be a chance to study polytechnic and engineering in Hindi.
Earlier, union Home Minister Shah released three MBBS first year books by pressing the button of the remote in the program. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, BJP State President BD Sharma and many other dignitaries were present in the program. Chief Minister Chouhan and Minister Sarang also addressed the program.
