Selja raises issue of sacked outsourced health workers

Chandigarh, April 8 : Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja on Friday raised the issue of sacking of health workers engaged on outsourced basis. In a letter to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, the HPCC chief said that these health workers had served the people during the Corona period by putting their lives on the line and the services of these health workers should be resumed. She said that two years ago during the Corona epidemic, health workers including pharmacist, nursing staff, lab technician, data entry operators were appointed under outsourcing policy part-II. In the past two years, these health workers had served the people without caring for their lives, but now these Corona Warriors were fired from their jobs. Selja demanded that the services of corona warriors should be resumed and they should be included in the NHM policy. She also attached a demand letter of health workers with her letter addressed to the Chief Minister. DB RKM
