SBI inches up on collaborating with Tata Power Solar Systems

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 540.05, up by 1.70 points or 0.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 538.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 545.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 545.00 and Rs. 538.00 respectively. So far 107362 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 545.00 on 01-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 282.75 on 01-Feb-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 545.00 and Rs. 503.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 480456.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.62% and 7.78% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI) has entered into an agreement with Tata Power Solar Systems (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power) for financing of solar projects. The bank has also set up a dedicated centralized processing cell – ‘Surya Shakti Cell’, at the Ballard Estate in Mumbai. The cell will process all the loan applications for solar projects (capacity up to 1 MW) sourced from across the country, for installation by business entities as well as households.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
