Mumbai, April 6: Actor Sanjay Dutt is well-known for his powerful performances that have won the hearts of audiences. Following the success of the film ‘Dhurandhar,’ he is set to appear in the upcoming movie ‘Aakhri Sawal.’
In a special episode of the celebrity talk show ‘Jeena Isika Naam Hai,’ Sanjay Dutt shared an intriguing story about his father, the legendary actor Sunil Dutt, and his strict demeanor on set. Sanjay revealed that his father was very firm during film shoots.
He recounted, “If my father said something, no one could question him or suggest doing it differently. He was completely strict on set.”
Remembering an incident during a shoot in Kashmir, he said, “My father had already prepared for a shot when his assistant approached me and said, ‘Go and have your meal.’ I replied that there was no break yet, but the assistant insisted, ‘No, there’s a break now, go eat.’”
While dining at a restaurant, Sanjay was suddenly informed that his father was shouting loudly. “When I rushed back to the set, my father scolded me fiercely. He angrily said, ‘How dare you? The whole unit is here, and you went off to eat? Have you become a star already?’”
Later, Sunil Dutt asked his assistant, “Did you tell Sanjay to go eat?” The assistant denied it, stating he had said no such thing.
Sanjay Dutt will soon be seen in ‘Aakhri Sawal,’ directed by national award-winning filmmaker Abhijit Mohan Warang. The film also stars Amit Sadh and Sameera Reddy, who is making her return to the screen after a long hiatus. Other notable actors include Namashi Chakraborty, Neetu Chandra, and Tridha Chaudhary in significant roles. The film is set to release in theaters on May 8.
