Actress Saiyami Kher has revealed that she will celebrate the New Year following her family’s old traditions, starting the day with a long run. The fitness enthusiast plans to combine exercise with camping, barbecue, and fun with her loved ones.
Saiyami Kher will begin the New Year by spending quality time at home with family and friends. She believes that celebrating the New Year with close ones is the most special way to welcome it. Keeping the family tradition alive, she will start the first day with a long run.
In a conversation, Saiyami said, “Celebrating the New Year at home with family and friends is very special. It is our old tradition. We light a bonfire, have barbecue, and go camping by setting up tents outdoors.”
This year, Saiyami has decided to add a fitness twist to her celebrations. On the first day of the year, she will run 31 kilometres in the morning. The traditional festivities will continue afterwards. She added, “I want to end this year on a high note, so I will run 31 kilometres in the morning. Then there will be food, desserts, music, board games, and camping as usual.”
Saiyami Kher is well known for her dedication to fitness. She regularly participates in marathons and triathlons. Long-distance running is not new to her but an integral part of her lifestyle.
From a career perspective, 2025 has been a significant year for Saiyami. She recently completed shooting for the upcoming film ‘Haawan’ with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Sharib Hashmi in a key role. The shooting took place in beautiful locations like Kochi, Ooty, and Mumbai, starting in August 2025.
Saiyami’s film ‘Jaat’ also released this year and received a positive response. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film stars Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
