RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Arrives in Assam for Four-Day Visit

Guwahati, May 14: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Assam’s Hojai district on Wednesday amid tight security measures. His convoy reached the Geeta Ashram, where he will stay for the next four days.

In anticipation of Bhagwat’s visit, the police have implemented stringent security arrangements around the ashram and nearby areas. Multiple layers of security are in place, with police forces deployed at sensitive locations.

His arrival has generated considerable activity in the region, with senior RSS leaders and local workers present to welcome him.

According to reports, Bhagwat will participate in the ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg (Second Year)’ training camp organized in the state. This camp is part of the organization’s cadre development and leadership training program.

The training will take place at a designated location in Guwahati, involving volunteers from various parts of the Northeast. Senior RSS leaders and propagators will also participate in sessions during this three-day event.

During his stay, he is expected to meet with senior RSS officials from Assam and other northeastern states.

The ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg’ is considered an important internal training program of the RSS, aimed at enhancing members’ leadership skills, ideological training, and organizational capabilities. The second-year camp is specifically for volunteers who have completed the first phase of training.

In light of Bhagwat’s visit, security measures in Guwahati have been intensified, and the administration is coordinating with organizers to ensure the smooth conduct of the program.

This visit will conclude on May 15, following the completion of the training program.
