Miami, March 28 : India’s Rohan Bopanna and his doubles partner Denis Shapovalov of Canada shocked the top seeded Croatians Mate Pavic and Nikola Mektic to enter the quarterfinals of the ATP Miami Open tennis tournament here. Rohan and Shapovalov registered a 6-3, 7-6 win over Pavic and Mektic on Sunday. In the quarterfinals, they will face sixth seeded pair of Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands and Britain’s Neal Skupski. In the opening round, the Indo-Canadian team registered a 6-7(5-7), 6-2 ,10-3 win over Marceloa Avrevalo of El Salvador and Jean-Juien Rojer of the Netherlands on Saturday. BAV MR
