
Mumbai, May 4: The film ‘Raja Shivaji‘, directed and starred in by Riteish Deshmukh, has hit theaters. This movie is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire, and has received positive feedback from audiences.
Renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza choreographed the film’s songs, including the anthem ‘Chhatrapati’, composed by Ajay-Atul. On Monday, D’Souza took to Instagram to commend Riteish and Genelia for their performances.
Sharing a clip of the anthem ‘Chhatrapati’, he wrote, “Dear Riteish, the technical skill, thought, and authenticity with which you brought this story to life is truly inspiring. You didn’t just repeat history; you made us feel it. This is the hallmark of a great filmmaker.”
Remo also praised Genelia, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations to Genelia. Your acting was beautiful, impactful, and full of truth. It will stay in the hearts of the audience for a long time.
