
Hyderabad, May 9: Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma addressed investors at the upcoming Global Rajasthan AgriTech Meet 2026 (Gram-2026) during an investor conference held in Hyderabad.
Welcoming investors, agri-tech startups, and industry leaders with the traditional greeting “Padharo Mhaaro Desh,” he emphasized that ‘Gram-2026′ will serve as a major platform for investment opportunities and partnerships in Rajasthan’s development journey.
Sharma stated that Rajasthan is actively working towards becoming a global hub for agriculture-based industries and food processing. He noted that the state has moved far beyond traditional farming practices, rapidly emerging as a land of immense opportunities in agri-tech, food processing, and value-added agriculture industries.
Due to the state’s diverse agricultural produce, there are vast investment possibilities in sectors such as food processing, cold chain logistics, spice parks, seed production, and agriculture-based industries. He assured that the state government is fully prepared to work hand in hand with investors.
Highlighting Hyderabad’s success in innovation and agricultural technology, Sharma remarked that the city’s ecosystem, which encompasses agri-tech startups, drone technology, precision farming, and food processing, serves as an inspiration for Rajasthan. He expressed the state’s intention to adopt and scale such models extensively.
The Chief Minister also praised the contributions of Rajasthan-born entrepreneurs based in Hyderabad, noting that the Marwari community has gained national recognition for their enterprises, social commitment, and cultural roots.
Referring to Gram-2026, scheduled to take place in Jaipur from May 23 to 25, Sharma mentioned that the event will bring together farmers, academics, agri-business professionals, policymakers, and technology experts on a shared platform to discuss the future of agriculture and food processing through innovation-driven approaches.
Emphasizing the fundamental need for water and energy for farmers’ prosperity, he stated that the government has developed a comprehensive roadmap for irrigation, drinking water supply, and electricity management.
