Rajsamand, December 2 – Nathdwara Shrinathji Police Station in Rajsamand, Rajasthan achieved a major breakthrough by seizing a pickup truck loaded with illegal explosive materials. The explosive material was being transported from Amet area towards Nathdwara. Police conducted this operation based on information received from an informant.
Police officials revealed that the pickup truck contained such a massive quantity of explosives that if it had exploded together, it could have devastated an area up to 10 kilometers radius.
Considering the gravity of the matter, Nathdwara Police have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the nature of the explosives, their source and destination. They are also trying to determine the purpose behind transporting this explosive material and identifying the people involved in this operation.
Police have arrested the vehicle driver and started questioning other suspects connected to this case. According to officials, this is a very serious matter and police are investigating every aspect to expose the people behind this operation.
Police officials stated that the illegal explosive material is being examined to determine its ownership and intended recipients. They are also investigating where such materials were previously sent. A special team is being formed for quick resolution of the case, which will investigate every aspect and arrest the accused at the earliest.
They mentioned that police had received prior information about this, which enabled the informant to help seize the vehicle at the right time. Recently in Rajasthan, security agencies had also arrested four suspicious clerics. One of these clerics, Osama Umar, was found to have connections with terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Following this incident, security agencies have become even more alert.
