Rahul Gandhi Urges Public to Join November 1 March in Delhi, Dismissing Fears of Police Action
Rahul Gandhi calls for participation in a march on November 1 to protect democracy and the Constitution, urging unity against oppression.

New Delhi, October 29 (Daily Kiran) : Opposition leader and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has appealed to the public to join the “India Block” march at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi on November 1. He described the event as a movement to save democracy, prevent vote theft, and protect the Constitution.
In a video message shared on social media platform X, Gandhi emphasized that the march represents the soul of India, not just a political party. He stated, “The ‘Chalo Delhi Ramleela March’ is about saving democracy and the Constitution. It is a march for the soul of Hindustan.”
He invited anyone frustrated with the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, or the Chief Election Commissioner to participate. “This is a protest for the country,” he said.
Gandhi reassured participants not to worry about police action or potential baton charges, asserting that the ruling BJP would not dare to act against them. “Join us in this march to protect the Constitution and the Indian nation. There is no need to be afraid,” he declared.
He also reached out to student groups, regardless of their political affiliations, urging them to join if they feel that their expression, thoughts, or ways of thinking are under threat.
This call comes as Congress prepares for a show of strength at the rally on November 1. Meanwhile, the opposition plans to hold a mock parliament at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday, where they intend to symbolically impeach the Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar.
