Mumbai, April 4: Sanjay Nirupam, a leader of the Shiv Sena party, has responded to the removal of Raghav Chadha from his position as Deputy Leader of the Rajya Sabha. In an interview with a news agency, Nirupam stated that the primary reason for Chadha’s ousting is his failure to support Arvind Kejriwal during the liquor scam and other controversies that led to Kejriwal’s imprisonment. While many have labeled Kejriwal as honest, the Aam Aadmi Party expected Chadha to do the same.
Nirupam further remarked that since Chadha did not defend Kejriwal, those who support corruption are now taking action against those who oppose it. He noted that Chadha has effectively raised issues related to the Aam Aadmi Party in the Rajya Sabha. However, the party, which claims to represent the common man, is now acting against someone who speaks on behalf of the public’s concerns.
Praising the Modi government’s efforts regarding LPG supply, Nirupam highlighted that Prime Minister Modi takes initiative during national crises. He criticized the Congress party for attempting to tarnish the government’s image during such times.
While the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has slightly impacted the supply of petroleum products, Nirupam emphasized that due to the government’s special efforts, the supply in India has not been significantly affected. The government is actively engaging with other countries to maintain supply.
He also targeted the Congress party, stating that they have repeatedly made unnecessary claims about an LPG crisis and a shortage of petroleum products. However, sensible leaders within Congress have acknowledged that there is no LPG crisis in the country.
