New Delhi, May 8: Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha released a video message on Instagram on Friday, addressing India’s stance against Pakistan and terrorism. In his message, he urged citizens to unite and praised the courage and valor of the Indian Armed Forces.
Chadha began his video by stating that while neighbors cannot be changed, it is essential to take strong measures if the neighbor is like Pakistan. He emphasized that India is currently fighting a broader battle against cruelty, barbarism, and a terrorist mindset, not just Pakistan. He highlighted the bravery of the Indian armed forces, asserting that this time terrorism will be eradicated completely. He called for solidarity with the families of soldiers stationed at the border, urging the nation to stand “like a rock” with them.
Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Chadha described it as a blot on humanity, stating that the murder of unarmed civilians has shaken the entire country. He mentioned that India has already responded through the first action of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ with Indian missiles and air force applying pressure on Pakistan. He claimed that India’s air defense system is effectively destroying enemy missiles and drones.
In his statement, he referenced several major terrorist attacks, including the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the Pulwama attack, the Uri attack, the Indian Parliament attack, and the 1993 Bombay bombings. He asserted that the Indian army is fully committed to uprooting the terrorists responsible for these attacks and their ideology.
Chadha recalled historical instances where India has given a strong response to Pakistan, citing the 1971 India-Pakistan war and the Kargil war, where the Indian army thwarted enemy plans each time.
The BJP MP appealed to citizens to remain united and become a source of strength for the country during crises. He also warned Pakistan that if it does not reform, it will face serious consequences.
