Radio artist and influencer, Mamta Mot, recently made an appearance on the “Gauge the Language” talk show, organised by the HYS (Have Your Say) club. The talk show was a platform for Mot to discuss the impact of community radio and how it differs from commercial radio.
Mot was thrilled to be part of the show and shared her thoughts on the way programs are curated for the community, highlighting the importance of catering to local needs and interests. Mamta Mot is an Indian administrative assistant, radio program producer, radio jockey, and Instagram blogger. She was born on 15th November 1977 and currently resides in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Her hobbies include singing, cooking, traveling, and writing poetry in Hindi.
Education
Mamta Mot completed her 12th grade education and then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. She also obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and a Nursery Teacher’s Training (N.T.T) certification. She passed the Teachers Eligibility Test (T.E.T) and earned a Diploma in Children’s Development. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism.

Mamta Mot is an Instagram blogger with over 80K followers. She creates content related to lifestyle, sarees, and weaves of India. She highlights the fabrics of India, with a focus on the Rajasthan weaves such as Bagru and Dabu Prints.
She is a program producer and radio jockey at Radio 7, where she formulates new programs and shows for the community radio and writes and creates content for radio shows. She attended UNESCO community radio conferences and produced programs for Radio 7 in collaboration with UNESCO. Her show “Ek Mulaqat” features interviews with esteemed professionals, public figures, and entrepreneurs about their journey.
