Qatar Airways Expands Flight Services to India

New Delhi, April 6: The Indian Embassy in Doha has issued an important advisory for the Indian community residing in Qatar. The embassy has urged everyone to strictly adhere to the directives of local authorities.

The embassy emphasized the shared responsibility of maintaining safety and stability within the community. It requested individuals to follow the advice and guidelines issued by local officials. Strengthening the principle of shared responsibility is essential for contributing to the safety and stability of society.

Qatar Airways is operating limited, unscheduled flights to ten destinations in India until April 15. The airline has announced additional flights to eleven locations in India from April 16 to June 15.

Indian schools in Doha have commenced in-person classes in accordance with the approvals and guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. All Indian schools, along with students and parents, must comply with the public safety guidelines issued by Qatari authorities and the procedures within educational institutions to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone.

The JEE (Mains) Session 2 is currently being conducted in Doha. The embassy is overseeing the smooth conduct of the examination in coordination with the National Testing Agency (NTA) and relevant institutions in Qatar. The embassy is also in contact with the NTA regarding the NEET exam, which will be held in May 2026. For any questions or concerns related to Indian schools or examinations, individuals can reach out to the education wing of the embassy.

The embassy maintains regular communication with Indian community organizations and leaders. The ambassador held a meeting on Sunday with the presidents of three major Indian community organizations: ICC, ICBF, and IBPC, to discuss community-related matters.
