Punjab BJP President Discusses Strategy for Upcoming Assembly Elections

New Delhi, August 9: Punjab BJP President, Kaul Singh Dhillon, announced on Sunday that a significant meeting took place in New Delhi with BJP National President Nitin Naveen and State In-Charge Satish Poonia. The purpose was to strengthen the party’s organization in Punjab and strategize for the 2027 assembly elections.

During a media interaction in Chandigarh, Dhillon highlighted that the meeting focused on key issues such as agriculture, youth, border security, and urban development, laying out a detailed roadmap for the party’s future.

He stated that robust organizational teams would be established at every district, block, and village level, promising positive outcomes in the upcoming assembly elections.

The Punjab BJP President emphasized that the party has increased its outreach on serious issues like drug addiction, unemployment, law and order, and the agricultural crisis in the state.

Dhillon mentioned that the party is conducting outreach campaigns in villages and cities to ensure that the benefits of the central government’s welfare schemes reach every family in Punjab.

Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Dhillon pointed out that Punjab is currently grappling with drug abuse, deteriorating law and order, and youth migration abroad, yet the state government lacks concrete solutions to these challenges.

He reiterated the BJP’s commitment to making Punjab a safe, prosperous, and progressive state, reinforcing the organization down to the village and booth levels to achieve this goal.

Dhillon also announced that from August 9 to 14, a “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign will be launched across Punjab in anticipation of Independence Day.

He encouraged people in every district, city, and village, especially in border areas and the land of martyrs, to participate in flag marches and to hoist the national flag at their homes.

Additionally, he mentioned the “Kalash Yatra,” which brings sacred soil from Guru Ravidas’s birthplace as part of the nationwide “Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan” celebrating the 650th anniversary of Guru Ravidas. This initiative aims to spread the message of Guru Ravidas’s teachings and social harmony, particularly in the Doaba region, home to a significant Dalit community.

Dhillon concluded that this journey serves to convey the ideals of Guru Ravidas and promote social unity among the people.
