PM Modi will inaugurate a new IRCTC hotel in Ekta Nagar on October 31, enhancing tourism and local economy.

Ekta Nagar, October 29 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate a new IRCTC hotel in Ekta Nagar on October 31. This modern facility, located near the Ekta Nagar railway station, has been constructed at a cost of ₹52.5 crore. With 127 rooms, the hotel aims to provide high-quality accommodation for tourists while also bolstering the local economy.
Spanning approximately two acres, the hotel features four types of rooms, a restaurant, a cafeteria, a banquet hall, conference facilities, and a swimming pool within an attractive landscape. Its proximity to the Statue of Unity and other nearby attractions makes it a valuable resource for visitors. The hotel is expected to enhance convenience for railway passengers as well.
Given the increasing number of tourists visiting Ekta Nagar, the expansion of modern hotels and hospitality services has become essential. Over three crore tourists have visited the Statue of Unity to date. The new hotel will not only improve accommodation options but also create direct employment opportunities in hotel operations, housekeeping, catering, and other services.
With modern amenities for dining and conferences, tourists may be encouraged to stay longer in Ekta Nagar rather than just making day trips. This extended stay is anticipated to accelerate local economic development.
Moreover, the hotel’s conference and event facilities will open up new opportunities for corporate meetings, conferences, and social events. Consequently, Ekta Nagar is poised to become a preferred destination for business and various gatherings. This initiative plays a crucial role in developing Ekta Nagar as a modern and comprehensive tourist destination.
