Prime Minister Modi to Distribute Appointment Letters to Over 51,000 Youths at Employment Fair

New Delhi, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly recruited youths during the 20th Employment Fair on September 19. The event will take place via video conferencing at 12:30 PM and will span across 45 locations nationwide.

The new appointees will join various ministries and departments of the Indian government, including the Ministry of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, and the Ministry of Defence, among others.

This employment fair underscores the government’s ongoing commitment to creating job opportunities for the youth and ensuring their active participation in the nation’s development. With this event, nearly 1.275 million appointment letters have been distributed through such fairs.

The previous employment fair was held on May 23, where 51,000 individuals received their appointment letters. During that event, PM Modi emphasized the crucial role of India’s youth in accelerating the journey towards a ‘Developed India.’ He remarked that these fairs reflect the government’s dedication to empowering young people by providing them with new opportunities.

Moreover, Modi expressed a desire for Indian youth to gain global exposure. He noted that sectors related to clean energy, critical minerals, green hydrogen, and sustainable manufacturing are rapidly advancing. Partnerships in these areas are opening doors to new economic opportunities. Collaboration with countries like Sweden, Norway, and Italy in ‘Green Transition and Sustainable Technology’ is also on the rise, strengthening India’s position in future industries linked to clean manufacturing.

The Prime Minister highlighted that every Indian is moving forward with a significant resolve to build a developed India by 2047. To achieve this goal, the country is investing across various sectors, which is creating millions of new job opportunities for the youth.
