Prime Minister Modi Invokes Blessings of Goddess Skandamata on Navratri

Mumbai, March 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media platform ‘X’ to express his heartfelt prayers to Goddess Skandamata. He stated, “May her affectionate love and blessings illuminate everyone’s life.” Alongside his message, he shared a Sanskrit verse, saying, “Sitting on a throne, she holds lotus flowers in both hands. May Goddess Skandamata always bestow us with auspicious fruits.”

The verse emphasizes the radiant Goddess Skandamata, who is always seated on a lion and is believed to bring prosperity and blessings.

In addition, PM Modi shared a devotional song dedicated to Maa Ambe, stating, “Worshipping Maa Ambe brings immense joy and peace to the mind, along with spiritual strength.”

On this auspicious occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his wishes to the nation, saying, “May the shadow of Maa Skandamata, the fifth form of Maa Durga, always bless the world with prosperity, peace, and fortune.”

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also posted his greetings, stating, “Heartfelt wishes to all residents on the fifth day of the sacred Chaitra Navratri, dedicated to the Goddess of knowledge, liberation, and affection, Maa Skandamata. May this holy festival bring joy, prosperity, peace, and positive energy into your lives.”

On the fifth day of Navratri, as a tribute to the embodiment of love and compassion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared her thoughts on ‘X’, stating, “The gentle form of the mother, worshipped as the mother of Lord Kartikeya, opens the doors to liberation and grants ultimate peace to devotees. Her compassion inspires us to uplift every section of society with sensitivity. May the blessings of Maa Skandamata continue to spread love, harmony, and knowledge in our state.”
