Preparations Intensify for PM Modis Visit to Vadodara

Vadodara, May 8: Gujarat’s Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi announced on Friday that a review meeting took place in Vadodara to assess preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anticipated visit on May 11.

Sanghvi shared on social media that he chaired discussions with local administrative officials to evaluate arrangements related to the inauguration of the Sardar Dham educational complex. Given the Prime Minister’s scheduled attendance, detailed checks on the preparations were conducted during the meeting.

The Deputy Chief Minister also mentioned that the route for the Prime Minister’s roadshow during his Vadodara visit was inspected, along with a review of security arrangements.

Officials from the police department and local administration were instructed to ensure coordination and implement necessary measures for crowd management, security, and logistics.

The Prime Minister is set to arrive in Gujarat for a two-day visit starting May 10. On May 11, he is expected to visit the Somnath Temple in Gir Somnath district, where arrangements are being made for his darshan program.

Later that same day, PM Modi will head to Vadodara to inaugurate the Sardar Dham Building-3 (Dr. Dushyant and Daksha Patel Complex), a significant educational and residential facility developed for students from the Patidar community.

The inaugurated complex will accommodate approximately 2,000 students and will include hostel facilities, a training center, and educational infrastructure.

The event is scheduled for the afternoon and is expected to be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy CM Sanghvi, and other dignitaries.

As part of the Vadodara visit, a roadshow is also being planned, with officials reviewing the route and security preparations ahead of the event.

Various department officials in Gujarat are coordinating efforts for traffic management, security deployment, cleanliness, and public arrangements in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s arrival.
