Nashik, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : A meeting held in Nashik regarding the upcoming Kumbh Mela at Trimbakeshwar emphasized the need for better coordination among various akhadas. The discussion highlighted essential arrangements for the stay and accommodation of saints and devotees. Participants stressed the importance of unity among the akhadas to create a grand and divine atmosphere for the event.
Saints noted that a significant influx of devotees and saints from across the country is expected during the Kumbh. Therefore, continuous communication between the administration and the akhadas is crucial for effective management.
The meeting underscored the necessity of ensuring proper lodging and facilities for saints from all akhadas, including Vaishnav akhadas. Attention must also be given to providing adequate amenities for the pilgrims arriving from different regions of India. The arrangement for meals and accommodations for local saints and devotees was also discussed to ensure a smooth experience.
Mahamandaleshwar Shri Ramsanehidasa Maharaj described the meeting as fruitful, noting that representatives from 13 akhadas shared their views and engaged in constructive dialogue about the Kumbh. He expressed the desire for Nashik to convey to the nation that, similar to Prayagraj, a magnificent Kumbh will take place at Trimbakeshwar. The Kumbh is set to begin on October 31 in Nashik district, with an appeal for devotees to arrive on time to experience the spiritual environment.
He emphasized that the meeting reflected satisfaction regarding the arrangements for saints and akhadas attending the Kumbh. Local accommodations for saints are often provided by local mahants or akhadas, so their needs must be prioritized. The participation of a large number of Vaishnav saints during the Kumbh was also acknowledged, and agreement was reached to ensure arrangements for all.
Saints appealed to the people of Nashik to warmly welcome the incoming saints and devotees during the Kumbh and to cooperate with the administration and akhadas. They reiterated that the Kumbh is not merely an event for saints but holds spiritual and cultural significance for the entire society.
The saints committed to working collaboratively to ensure that the Kumbh at the sacred site of the Godavari river and Trimbakeshwar is grand and historic. They stressed the need for ongoing dialogue and coordination between the akhadas and the administration in the coming days to facilitate maximum participation from devotees and maintain smooth operations.
