Kakdwip, April 23: At a recent rally in Kakdwip, located in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, attendees expressed their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sarvan Shah, a participant at the event, urged the Sanatani community to cast their votes for the BJP, emphasizing that the party is committed to the development of all.
Shah noted that in previous elections, BJP leaders were in the forefront while the public remained behind. However, he asserted that this time, the public is leading the charge to protect Hindutva, stating, “No one can stop the formation of a BJP government this time.”
Women attending the rally echoed this sentiment, declaring that change is imminent and that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government is no longer needed.
The rally, held at the Kakdwip Stadium Ground, was part of a campaign to support BJP candidates from the Mathurapur organizational district. All assembly candidates from this district, along with candidates from the Diamond Harbour assembly constituency, were present.
During his address, PM Modi called for a corruption-free Bengal and highlighted the alleged atrocities faced by fishermen in the Sundarbans, as well as the politics of extortion. He announced plans to establish an ‘Aquatica Hub’ for the fishermen and promised that if the BJP comes to power, several special schemes will be implemented for their benefit.
Modi also accused the TMC government of systematically allowing illegal immigrants to enter the state to secure votes. The atmosphere at the rally was charged with confidence, as party workers and supporters rallied around PM Modi’s vision for the future.
