Patna, April 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program, ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ is set to air its next episode this Sunday. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its preparations to ensure widespread reach for this program in Bihar.
A preparatory meeting was held at the state BJP office in Patna, where divisional presidents and program coordinators participated virtually to plan for the 133rd edition of the program.
During the meeting, BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi emphasized that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ serves as a monthly platform for the Prime Minister to connect directly with citizens. He highlighted that arrangements are being made to broadcast the program at every polling booth, ensuring maximum public participation and outreach.
“Our aim is to convey the Prime Minister’s thoughts to every booth through organizational strength and public engagement,” Sarawagi stated.
He also noted that a key feature of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is its ability to spotlight and appreciate individuals excelling in various sectors of society, drawing national attention to their contributions.
State organization general secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania also joined the meeting virtually to provide guidance for the program’s implementation. Detailed discussions were held on the program’s framework, its execution, strengthening organizational coordination, and ensuring broad public participation.
State vice president and program coordinator Rajendra Singh presented strategies to make this initiative impactful in collaboration with the state-level team.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ primarily focuses on national issues and public participation, along with campaigns like ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ as well as topics such as cleanliness, women’s empowerment, sports, science, art, and culture. It has become a significant medium for direct dialogue between PM Modi and citizens, promoting the vision of a ‘Developed India.’
The broadcast on April 26 is particularly significant as the second phase of the West Bengal assembly elections approaches.
