On the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi posted his hopes for Ajay Rai’s quick healing. He stated that he was saddened to learn about Rai’s illness and is praying for his speedy recovery.
According to sources, Ajay Rai had attended a conference for teachers and doctors organized by the party earlier in the day, where several senior Congress leaders were present. During the event, he complained of discomfort and pain.
After the program concluded, his condition worsened, leading to him fainting. He was immediately taken to the emergency ward of a private hospital in Lucknow.
It has been reported that Ajay Rai was admitted due to sudden chest pain, discomfort, and loss of consciousness. A team of specialist doctors is monitoring his condition, and treatment is ongoing.
Currently, the medical team is keeping a close watch on his health, and his condition is said to be stable.
In the evening, Ajay Rai spoke with the media, sharing his views on the recent hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices. He remarked that he had always warned that gas prices would increase. He noted that as soon as the elections and voting concluded, the government swiftly raised prices overnight.
