New Delhi, March 4: On the occasion of Holi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the citizens of India. He expressed his hope that the festival brings joy, prosperity, and success into everyone’s lives.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi wrote, “Wishing all citizens a joyous Holi. May this festival, filled with colors and enthusiasm, bring happiness to everyone. I hope that prosperity and success shower upon each individual.”
In another message, he noted, “The festival of Holi infuses new energy into the atmosphere. This is one of the festival’s remarkable features. The colors of joy spread everywhere, enveloping everyone in delight and happiness.”
Additionally, he shared a ‘Sanskrit Subhashitam’ on the occasion, stating, “As the beautiful breeze of spring makes the lovely lotus bloom, so does the grand celebration of love adorned with colorful flowers and fragrances spread joy all around. Sweet songs resonate everywhere, awakening a new consciousness in life.”
Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu also conveyed her Holi greetings to the nation. She posted, “This festival of colors inspires love and hope in people’s lives and strengthens unity and brotherhood. I wish that this occasion brings happiness to everyone and that we all contribute to building a developed nation together.”
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, in his Holi wishes on ‘X’, remarked, “This beautiful festival celebrates the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring, symbolizing a new beginning, hope, and enthusiasm in our civilization.”
He further added, “Holi, deeply rooted in our rich traditions, showcases brotherhood, mutual respect, and shared joy, which strengthens the fabric of our society. May the colors of Holi fill every heart with happiness and new energy. This festival inspires us to spread harmony and work together for a more inclusive, peaceful, and developed India.”
