PM Modi to Visit Art of Living Center in Bengaluru for Special Celebrations

Bengaluru, May 8: Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar announced on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru this Sunday. The visit coincides with the 45th anniversary of the Art of Living Foundation and the 70th birthday celebration of its founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

In a statement, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar expressed that welcoming Prime Minister Modi to the Art of Living International Center is a matter of great honor.

According to the announcement, PM Modi will deliver the keynote address at the event. A large gathering of devotees, volunteers, and dignitaries from across the country and abroad is expected to attend.

During this occasion, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the special meditation center known as the “Dhyana Mandir” within the Art of Living campus.

The statement further revealed that PM Modi will launch nationwide service initiatives focused on mental health, rural development, nature conservation, and social change.

This event marks a significant milestone, celebrating 45 years of the Art of Living Foundation and the 70th birthday of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R. Ashok, mentioned that preparations are underway for the large public event during PM Modi’s visit to Bengaluru.

In a conversation with reporters on Thursday, he highlighted that the achievements of the BJP are well-known globally, and even U.S. President Donald Trump has congratulated PM Modi.

R. Ashok noted that the formation of the BJP government in West Bengal for the first time is a matter of pride for the party.

He added that PM Modi will address the people of Bengaluru, and the event will be open to the public.

“All party workers and the general public should participate in the program. Meetings have been held to discuss preparations,” he stated.

R. Ashok mentioned that BJP workers from assembly constituencies around Tumkur Road will attend the Chitradurga event, while workers from ten assembly seats in the Bengaluru urban district will participate in the Bengaluru program.

He assured that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth event.
