PM Modi Honors Veer Savarkar on His Death Anniversary

New Delhi, February 26: On the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him. He stated that Savarkar dedicated his life to liberating the nation from the chains of slavery.

In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “The life of Veer Savarkar, a dedicated son of Mother India, teaches us to remain steadfast in our resolve even in adverse circumstances. His courage, patience, and devotion to the motherland will always guide the people of our nation.”

He further expressed his respect for the great revolutionary on his death anniversary, emphasizing that Savarkar devoted his life to freeing the country from colonial rule. His personality and contributions will continue to inspire every generation towards national service.

Union Minister JP Nadda also shared a post, stating, “I pay my respects on the death anniversary of the great freedom fighter, ‘Swatantryaveer’ Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, who dedicated every moment of his life to the motherland. Not even the harshest tortures of the British government could shake his commitment to Mother India. His significant contribution to igniting the flame of nationalism in the hearts of the people during the freedom movement is commendable. His thoughts on the integrity of Hindu culture and a united India are exemplary for all of us.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on X, “On the death anniversary of Veer Vinayak Savarkar, I pay my respects. His indomitable courage, unique sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the nation are a glorious chapter in the Indian freedom struggle. His life and inspiring thoughts continue to motivate millions of countrymen.”

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini expressed, “On the death anniversary of the great revolutionary, Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, who dedicated everything for the integrity, self-respect, and national consciousness of India, I offer heartfelt tributes and countless respects. His indomitable courage, sacrifice, and patriotism will always inspire us to serve the nation.”

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai remarked, “On the death anniversary of the brave son of Mother India, the great nationalist thinker and symbol of indomitable courage, Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, I offer my deepest respects. His sacrifice, penance, and dedication to the nation will always inspire us to serve our country.”
