New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Vishwakarma Jayanti on Thursday by sharing heartfelt wishes and insights on social media platform X. He expressed, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Vishwakarma Jayanti. On this divine occasion associated with the deity of craftsmanship, I extend my special greetings to artisans and skilled workers across the nation engaged in construction activities.”
In his message, the Prime Minister underscored the significance of the skills and hard work of these artisans in realizing a developed and self-reliant India. He stated, “Your talent and dedication are vital in achieving our commitment to national reconstruction. We are fully committed to supporting your efforts in every possible way.”
Modi also shared a verse from the Vishwakarma Ashtakshara, which reads, “Anadiraprameyashcha Arupashcha Jayajayaḥ. Lokarūpo Jagannāthaḥ Vishwakarmannamo Namah,” translating to the idea that Lord Vishwakarma is eternal and beyond form. He is the one who determines victory and defeat, and the entire universe is a manifestation of Lord Vishwakarma, the sustainer of this world. The Prime Minister offered repeated salutations to this divine creator.
Through this verse, a prayer is made to Lord Vishwakarma, acknowledging his timeless nature and omnipotence. The prayer recognizes him as the embodiment of all worlds and the ruler of the universe, underscoring the reverence and gratitude owed to him.
