New Delhi, March 20: On the second day of Navratri, special prayers and worship are dedicated to Maa Brahmacharini. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit verse, highlighting the atmosphere filled with devotion to Maa Ambey, which brings immense peace and energy to the mind.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi expressed, “Salutations to Maa Brahmacharini! May the goddess bless all her devotees.” He included the Sanskrit verse: “Dadhana karapadmabhyam akshamalakmandalu. Devi prasidatu mayi Brahmacharinyanuttama.”
The verse translates to: “May the supreme Brahmacharini Devi, who holds a rosary and a water pot in her hands, be pleased with me.”
Additionally, PM Modi shared a song dedicated to Maa Ambey, stating that the atmosphere filled with devotion during Navratri brings boundless peace and energy. The reverberation of faith and devotion towards the mother resonates deeply within the heart.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also shared the cultural verse, emphasizing the significance of the second day of Chaitra Navratri, praying for the welfare of all and the increase of sacrifice, virtue, and restraint in the world.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked, “On this holy occasion of Chaitra Navratri, may Maa Brahmacharini’s blessings remain upon all beings, granting courage and restraint to all her devotees.”
On the second day of Navratri, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended heartfelt greetings to the residents, praying that Maa Brahmacharini ignites the light of penance, restraint, and self-realization in their lives.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav noted that Maa Brahmacharini, the second form of Maa Ambey, bestows infinite fruits upon her devotees. He expressed his wish for happiness, prosperity, and well-being in every household through her blessings.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared on ‘X’, “On the second day of Navratri, I bow down to Maa Brahmacharini, the embodiment of knowledge, penance, and renunciation. Her divine form provides strength and patience amidst struggles. May we all continue to walk the path of virtue and dedicate ourselves to the welfare of the people, with the boundless grace of Maa Brahmacharini bringing joy, peace, and prosperity to all residents of Delhi.”
