Shanghai, March 12: Philips has introduced its latest fully automatic coffee machine, the Baristina Bar Pro 500, in China. It is currently available for pre-order on JD.com for 3,796 yuan ($552). This innovative machine replicates the flavor of traditional 12-hour cold brew in just 90 seconds, thanks to advanced cold extraction technology and a zero-preheat system, allowing users to brew coffee in approximately one minute.

The Bar Pro 500 features AuraPress low-temperature cold extraction technology. This combines high-pressure extraction, low-flow permeation, and low-temperature brewing to produce smooth and aromatic cold brew coffee that meets the SCAA Golden Cup standard. Additionally, it includes a 16 Bar pump pressure system, ensuring stable extraction for rich crema and balanced flavors.
Designed with a compact form factor, the machine measures 19 cm wide, occupying roughly the same space as a laptop. This makes it ideal for small kitchens, office desks, or coffee corners. The chassis boasts a cool-toned metal finish with fir wood accents, giving it a modern and premium look.
The Bar Pro 500 is equipped with a 100% ceramic disc grinder, which Philips claims is 2.3 times harder than traditional metal grinders.
