Pakistan Vows Strong Response Amid Rising Tensions with Afghanistan

New Delhi, February 27: Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan continue to escalate. In response, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has declared that the nation is prepared to deliver a robust counter-response. His statement surfaced on social media, emphasizing that the Pakistani military is fully capable of thwarting any aggressive intentions.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated, “The people of Pakistan and our security forces are always ready to protect the country’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The Pakistani security forces are determined to ensure that the peace and security of the nation remain unscathed. Our military has the complete capability to crush any aggressive intentions.”

He added, “Under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani security forces are diligently fulfilling their responsibilities.”

Sharif emphasized that the army is equipped with professional capabilities, advanced training, and effective defensive strategies to address any internal or external challenges. He assured that there would be no compromise in defending the beloved homeland, and every attack would be met with a strong response.

The Prime Minister remarked, “Pakistan has always promoted peace. However, we will not allow any harm to our integrity, and the Pakistani army will confront every attack head-on. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces.”

Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry reported that Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, to discuss recent regional developments, particularly the situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministry stated, “Ishaq Dar emphasized that Pakistan responded decisively to Afghanistan’s unprovoked attacks, conducting successful air operations under ‘Operation Gajab Lil Haq’ to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Both leaders stressed the importance of peace and stability in the region and agreed to stay closely connected regarding the evolving situation.”
