
Mumbai, April 23: OnePlus is set to launch its next major software upgrade, OxygenOS 17, based on Android 17. This update will be available for over a dozen eligible devices later this year. However, for some models, this will be the last significant upgrade they receive.

OnePlus Devices Receiving OxygenOS 17 as Their Last Major Upgrade
1. OnePlus Open
- Launched OS: Android 13
- Software Support: Up to 4 major OS upgrades
- Last OS Update: Android 17
The OnePlus Open debuted in late 2023 with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13. It was promised four major Android upgrades. So far, it has received three updates and will be eligible for Android 17, which will be its final major update.
2. OnePlus 12R
- Launched OS: Android 14
- Software Support: Up to 3 major OS upgrades
- Last OS Update: Android 17
Launched in January 2024 with Android 14, the OnePlus 12R is set to receive three major upgrades. Consequently, Android 17 will serve as its last OS update.
3. OnePlus 11
- Launched OS: Android 13
- Software Support: Up to 4 major OS upgrades
- Last OS Update: Android 17
The OnePlus 11 guarantees four major OS upgrades. Since it launched with Android 13, the upcoming Android 17 will be its final update.
4. OnePlus Pad 2

- Last OS Update: Android 17
The OnePlus Pad 2, which launched with Android 14, is also included in this list. It guarantees only three major OS upgrades, concluding with Android 17.
These four OnePlus devices are set to receive their last major OS upgrade, Android 17, later this year or early next year. After this, they will no longer be eligible for major upgrades, although they will continue to receive security updates for a while.
