Oppn. expresses concern over attack on Nitish Kumar

Patna, March 28 : The members of opposition in Bihar assembly expressed concern on Monday over the Sunday’s attack on the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his home turf. As soon as the house assembled for the day, the opposition members were on their toes on the issue . The chief whip of the RJD Lalit Yadav termed the Sunday’s incident in which a youth had attacked upon the chief minister during an event as sorrowful incident. Yadav said that the government has failed totally on all fronts and the sushasan has been exposed. To this, the speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the issue should be reviewed seriously and with utmost sensitivity. He said that the government has taken it seriously. In his statement on behalf of the government, the Deputy Chief Ministers Tarkishor Prasad said that a sorrowful incident took place on Sunday with the chief minister when a mentally deranged youth tried to attack upon him. He said that this is an unfortunate incident and the government was reviewing it considering all aspects. RS BM
