New Delhi (Patrika English News): The upcoming OnePlus 15 has made its first public appearance ahead of launch. Real-life photos of the device surfaced during the 2025 Peace Elite Professional League (PEL) Summer Finals, where it appeared alongside past Peace Elite champions.

Design and Camera Setup

From the leaked images, the OnePlus 15 features a squarish camera module on the top-left corner of the back panel, resembling the design seen on the OnePlus 13T. The module houses:

• Three 50MP lenses

• A periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

• An LED flash positioned separately

The camera system will also be powered by OnePlus’ new “DetailMax Engine” for sharper photography. While earlier reports suggested colour options like Absolute Black, Dune, and Mist Purple, the leaked image revealed a new white shade.

The OnePlus 15 will be among the first smartphones to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which debuts today. Benchmark results confirm:

• Multi-core score: ~11,000

• RAM: Up to 16GB

Battery and Display

Regulatory filings suggest the device will pack a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. On the display side, it is expected to sport a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smooth visuals.

OnePlus has not yet revealed the launch date of the OnePlus 15. However, with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 event scheduled for today and Xiaomi’s 17 series launch on September 25, official details from OnePlus are likely to follow soon.
