Nitish claims NDA victory in Bochaha assembly by election

Patna, April 9 ( ) Surprised at the result of elections for 24 seats of Bihar Legislative Council from local bodies, Behar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar claimed that the National Democratic Alliance would win the by elections in Bochaha Assembly constituency. While interacting with media persons the Chief Minister said that he would campaign in Bochaha on April 10 where election is slated for April 12. Nitish Kumar would campaign in favour of BJP candidate Baby Kumari contesting the by election. Meanwhile enthused with the commendable results of his party in the Bihar legislative Council election, leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav before leaving for Bochaha for Election Campaign told news persons here that the candidate of Janata Dal ( U) was defeated in the district of its national president whereas BJP candidate too faced debacle in the home turf of their State president. Commenting upon the internal bickering within BJP and JD(U) he said that the party has no control on its leader . Taking pot shot at the inflation, soaring prices and unemployment he said that it was matter of great surprise that despite its failures in controlling inflation, the NDA was seeking vote in Bochaha Assembly Constituency .
