Raipur, May 11: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for three Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. Interested applicants are invited to submit their applications by May 20.
The application process has commenced online via email, and candidates are encouraged to complete their registration forms within the specified deadline.
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geoinformatics, or Geography from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant professional course is required. Candidates should also have qualifications such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with experience in hyperspectral remote sensing, Python, IDL, or MATLAB.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on shortlisting and interviews, scheduled for May 22 at 11 AM. Interviews will be conducted both online and offline, depending on the candidate’s request. Candidates are advised to bring all original documents for the interview at the Applied Geology Department of NIT Raipur. The JRF application must be titled ‘Hyperspectral Project Application.’
To apply, candidates should first visit the official NIT Raipur website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the notification link for the relevant position. They should then download the application form provided in the notification and print it out. After filling in all required information, candidates must scan the form along with all relevant documents and email them to the official email address.
