Mumbai, April 27: In today’s world, competitive exams extend beyond academics; they are intertwined with the struggles and aspirations of youth. Millions of students work tirelessly to achieve their dreams, often burdened by stress, fear, and societal expectations. A new Tamil web series titled ‘Exam’ is set to address this sensitive topic.
The series will portray not only the journey of exams but also the emotional struggles and tough decisions faced by individuals in high-pressure environments.
Starring actresses Dushara Vijayan and Aditi Balan in lead roles, this web series will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting May 15. It consists of seven episodes filled with suspense, emotions, and tension.
Written and directed by national award-winning filmmaker A. Sarkunam, the story illustrates how the pressure of competitive exams profoundly impacts people’s lives. It aims to showcase the mental and emotional challenges individuals face when burdened with expectations and the quest for success.
In addition to Dushara Vijayan and Aditi Balan, actor Abbas plays a significant role in the series. ‘Exam’ will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, along with subtitles in 15 languages, including English, to connect with a diverse audience.
Nikhil Madhok, head of the Originals department at Prime Video India, stated, “‘Exam’ is a crucial and relatable story for today’s era.
