New Delhi : Nestle India Limited has announced its third-quarter results. The company’s profit rose 8.25 per cent to ₹668.34 crore in the third quarter (July-September) of the current year.
Nestle India on Wednesday said the net profit stood at ₹617.37 crore in the same period a year ago. During this period, its net sales increased by 18.24 per cent to ₹4,591 crore from ₹3,882.57 crore in the year-ago quarter. Its total expenses rose 20.55 per cent to ₹3,715.40 crore for the third quarter that ended September 30, as against ₹3,081.99 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s domestic sales stood at ₹4,361.15 crore, up 18.27 per cent from ₹3,687.37 crore a year ago. During this period, the company’s exports grew by 15.68 per cent to ₹205.45 crore as compared to ₹177.60 crore in the same period last year.
It is noteworthy that Nestle India Limited is a subsidiary of the multinational Swiss company Nestle. The headquarter of the company is located in Gurgaon. The company’s major products include Maggi noodles, beverages, chocolates, and confectionery.
