Nepalese PM Deuba to call on Vice President Naidu, hold talks with PM Modi

New Delhi, March 28 : Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who arrives on a three-day official visit on April 1, will call on Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, besides holding talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Deuba is visiting India on the invitation of PM Modi. He will be accompanied by his spouse Dr. Arzu Deuba. Prime Minister Deuba will hold talks with PM Modi on April 2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar EAM and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will call on him, an official statement said. Besides his official engagements in New Delhi, the Prime Minister of Nepal will visit Varanasi. This will be the first bilateral visit abroad by Prime Minister Deuba after assuming his office in July 2021. A high-level delegation will accompany the Prime Minister. India and Nepal enjoy age-old and special ties of friendship and cooperation. In recent years, the partnership has witnessed significant growth in all areas of cooperation. The upcoming visit will provide an opport ty to the two sides to review this wide ranging cooperative partnership and to progress it further for the benefit of the two peoples. RN
