NDA Leaders Criticize Rahul Gandhi Over Alleged Foreign Trip During Navratri

BJP leaders question Rahul Gandhis absence during Navratri, suggesting he prioritizes vacations over political duties.

New Delhi, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari recently targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding his supposed trip abroad. Bhandari questioned whether Gandhi was meeting with his “friends who spread chaos.” He also expressed concern over Gandhi’s absence during the Navratri festivities.

In a post on the social media platform X, Bhandari accused Gandhi of taking a vacation instead of focusing on his political responsibilities. He wrote, “Rahul Gandhi is doing what he does best: taking a break and enjoying a holiday! Reports suggest he is abroad. What is he doing during Navratri? Is he enjoying a vacation or meeting with his chaotic friends? A person who spends more time relaxing than working, then shouts, ‘Votes are stolen!’”

Bhandari’s remarks come amid ongoing political exchanges between the BJP and Congress. Leaders from both parties frequently target each other over allegations related to public events, political activities, and electoral processes.

Additionally, Uttar Pradesh minister and head of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Om Prakash Rajbhar, also criticized Gandhi on social media. He referenced the tradition of burning effigies of Ravana during the Dussehra festival, posting, “Rahul Gandhi, I heard you left for a foreign trip last night. Didn’t you want to see your friend Ravana’s effigy burn before your eyes?”

This backlash from Bhandari and Rajbhar follows Gandhi’s recent accusations against BJP leadership for electoral irregularities during a rally in Mormugao, Goa. He stated, “Stealing votes is an attack on the Constitution and the Congress Party’s duty, as the Congress is the guardian of the Constitution.”
