NDA Leaders Accuse Rahul Gandhis Rally of Harming Businesses

NDA leaders in Lucknow criticize Rahul Gandhis rally, claiming it disrupts businesses and undermines democratic values.

Lucknow, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : In Lucknow, on November 1, Uttar Pradesh government ministers and the Deputy Chief Minister targeted the Congress party and the opposition alliance, raising concerns on various issues. They questioned the Congress regarding Rahul Gandhi’s recent rally, statements from opposition leaders, democratic institutions, and alleged anti-national activities.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak spoke to reporters, stating that anti-national forces are active in the country. He expressed concern over certain elements scheming behind the scenes and criticized opposition leaders for making statements reminiscent of events in Bangladesh, calling it unfortunate. Pathak emphasized that everyone in India should adhere to the law.

He urged citizens to trust the democratic process, asserting that India’s democracy is robust and that such forces will not succeed in their endeavors. Responding to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks, Pathak declared that the public would never accept undemocratic tactics. He accused the opposition of habitually questioning constitutional institutions and affirmed that the government operates under the Constitution crafted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Notably, Kharge made a controversial statement about Prime Minister Modi during a political event in Patna on October 25.

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya remarked that the opposition alliance has made several unsuccessful attempts to promote Rahul Gandhi. He described both the recent rally and the upcoming event as mockeries of democracy and the Constitution.

Minister Narendra Kashyap also questioned the unity of the opposition alliance, pointing out that its members often contest elections separately and engage in mutual criticism. He criticized the recent rallies held in Delhi, claiming they caused public inconvenience and featured offensive language against Prime Minister Modi and his family.

Minister Danish Azad Ansari targeted Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that if he genuinely cared about traders and the public, he would not schedule rallies during the festive season. He argued that such events adversely affect businesses and livelihoods, accusing Gandhi of prioritizing his political ambitions over the interests of ordinary citizens and traders.
