Pune, Mar 6 : NCP workers flung slippers at former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis’ car in Pimpri-Chinchwad area here on Sunday. The incident occurred this afternoon when Fadnavis came to Pimpri Chinchwad for inauguration of development works, prompting BJP and NCP workers to come face to face. Hence, police had to resort to mild lathicharge to disperse hundreds of protesters from venue. However, the identity of the person who allegedly threw slippers has yet to be ascertained, police said.
