National Lok Adalat Promotion Launched in Nawada

Nawada, March 10: The promotion of the National Lok Adalat, scheduled for March 14, has officially begun under the guidance of NALSA and the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna. Ashutosh Kumar Jha, the Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Nawada, flagged off the promotional vehicle from the main gate of the Civil Court.

This promotional vehicle will travel to key intersections and public places in the city to raise awareness among residents. It will distribute pamphlets about the National Lok Adalat, encouraging Nawada citizens to resolve their cases on March 14.

Additionally, a meeting was held on March 9 under the leadership of Dhirendra Kumar Pandey, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Nawada. This meeting included officials from major public and private banks in the district to discuss preparations for the upcoming National Lok Adalat.

During the meeting, bank officials assured that they are actively working on resolving loan cases and informing stakeholders to maximize the number of cases settled during the National Lok Adalat. Discussions also focused on the complete service of notices related to loan cases.

The Legal Services Authority emphasized that the execution of bank loan cases is contingent upon the service of these notices. The meeting also reviewed previously identified disputed cases and the number of prior consultations. It was noted that loan cases would be resolved through counseling based on prior meetings.

In attendance were officials from various banks, including PNB Nawada, South Bihar Gramin Bank, SBI, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, and the Nawada Central Cooperative Bank Limited, among others, all committed to ensuring the success of the National Lok Adalat.
