Naidu turns 72, TDP cadres celebrate birthday across AP

Vijayawada, April 20 : Telugu Desam Party National president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu turned 72 on Wednesday. He celebrated his birthday among the party leaders and activists in the party state office here. Naidu visited goddess Kanaka Durga temple located atop on the Indrakeeladri hill here and offered prayers. Temple Executive Officer Bramaramba and other officials welcomed him at the temple. The priests blessed the former Chief Minister and presented prasadam in the temple. TDP state president and MLA K Atchannaidu, MLAs Gorantla Buttchaiah Chowdary, MP Kanakamedala, MLC Budda Venkanna and other leaders accompanied Chandrababu Naidu. Born on April 20, 1950 in Naravaripalli village in Chittoor district, the TDP Chief started his political career in the Congress party and later joined the Telugu Desam Party founded by his father-in-law and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao. Talking to the media, Naidu said that he invoked the goddess Durga to give strength to resolve the problems of people and bring the past glory to the Andhra Pradesh state. He said that the TDP would continue to stand by people. The TDP cadres celebrated Chandrababu Naidu’s birthday across the state in a big way. TDP leaders said that Naidu would visit Nekkalam Gollagudem village in Nuzvid constituency in Eluru district today to know the problems of the villagers.
