New Delhi, February 24: BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has responded to Congress MP Imran Masood’s statement regarding the innocent being trapped under the guise of terrorism. Naqvi emphasized that anyone who is innocent should not be touched, while those who are guilty must face justice.
He stated that there should be no objections to legal action against the guilty, provided it is conducted with fairness and transparency. However, he stressed that no form of harassment should be inflicted upon the innocent, a sentiment that he believes is widely understood and desired by the public.
Naqvi also criticized the Congress party regarding the NCERT curriculum, claiming that Congress has a tainted history and is currently rebellious. He accused the party of attempting to obscure the contributions of the nation’s great leaders. He insisted that the truth must be presented to the younger generation of the country.
Commenting on the installation of a statue of Rajaji in place of Lutyens at the President’s House, Naqvi remarked that those accustomed to Lutyens should be allowed to indulge in their nostalgia. He pointed out that the Congress party, which has ruled the country the longest, has failed to make significant changes beyond the names of leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. He argued that if Prime Minister Modi is now undertaking such changes, it should be welcomed rather than questioned.
Naqvi further criticized Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that he is assembling a group of misguided individuals in martial arts to tarnish India’s image. He claimed that Gandhi’s failure to secure a public mandate has led him to attack the government. Naqvi concluded that the attempts to create chaos and hijack the system will not succeed, asserting that spreading falsehoods against India is not a birthright.
