New Delhi, February 16: Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has made a sharp remark regarding Pakistan’s significant defeat in the T20 World Cup. He stated that Pakistan does not believe in other sports and is solely focused on playing the game of terrorism.
In a conversation in New Delhi, Naqvi pointed out that Pakistan’s current situation is such that, whether on the sports field or elsewhere, it consistently faces defeat against India. He emphasized that Pakistan is humiliated on every front, as it is engrossed in the game of terrorism, which detracts from its ability to engage in other sports.
Addressing questions regarding the new guidelines for “Vande Mataram,” Naqvi described the communal lynching mentality surrounding the national song as criminal chaos. He urged those who waver in their faith when it comes to singing or standing for the national anthem to reconsider their beliefs. He asserted that “Vande Mataram” embodies India’s nationalist spirit.
On the Tipu Sultan controversy, Naqvi took a jab at Congress leader Harshvardhan Sapkal, stating that the defeat has left him mentally defeated and confused. He noted that a significant portion of the country disapproves of Tipu Sultan and his history, questioning the comparison with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Responding to Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge’s statements, Naqvi remarked that the BJP and RSS are tirelessly working towards nation-building, while others are merely lamenting their losses.
Regarding actions taken by the Election Commission, Naqvi expressed concern over the deteriorating system in West Bengal. He criticized the illegal and government-sponsored criminal attacks, suggesting that the West Bengal government is not committed to its constitutional responsibilities but is instead aligned with communal interests and chaos. He declared that the farewell band for the TMC has already begun.
Supporting Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments on Rahul Gandhi, Naqvi stated that Gandhi is merely spreading falsehoods and misleading farmers. He noted that this is not the first instance, as Gandhi consistently adds confusion to matters of national interest.
