Patna, April 8 : The sleuths of Vigilance Bureau arrested Mukhiya Brajesh Ram of Basgaon Manjhariya panchayat of Bagha one block in West Champaran district when he was receiving bribe of Rs 15000 on Friday. Sources close to the bureau said here that two ward members and spouse of an another ward member of ward two had complained about demand of bribe of Rs 5000 from each of them by the said Mukhiya for uploading various schemes launched by the chief minister. Based on the complain the Mukhya Brajesh Ram was arrested when he was taking the bribe. After preliminary interrogation, the arrested Mukhya was brought to Patna for production before the special vigilance court. RS BM
