New Delhi (Patrika English News): Mother Dairy has announced a sharp reduction in the prices of its popular dairy products, passing on the benefit of revised GST rates 2025 directly to consumers. The new prices, effective from today, cover essential items like milk, paneer, butter, ghee, cheese and even milkshakes. Depending on the product and pack size, prices have been cut between ₹2 and ₹30.

According to the company, GST on several dairy products has been lowered. For instance, GST on UHT milk and paneer has dropped from 5% to 0%, while GST on ghee, butter, paneer variants and milkshakes has been reduced from 12% to 5%. Similarly, GST on ice cream has come down from 18% to 5%, resulting in significant consumer savings.

Safal Product Range
Mother Dairy’s Safal brand has also seen price cuts after GST revision. Frozen snacks like French Fries, Aloo Tikki, Veggie Sticks and Nuggets are now ₹5–15 cheaper. Traditional items like pickles and chutneys also cost less.
The move is expected to bring relief to millions of households, especially as dairy products form a major part of daily consumption.
