Monte Carlo (Monaco), April 15 : Indian tennis’ doubles specialist Rohan Bopanna along with his British partner Jammie Murray on Friday stormed into the semifinals of the Monte Carlos Masters ATP tournament. Bopanna and Murray defeated third seeded Spanish-Argentine pair of Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers 7-6,7-6 in the quarterfinal match. In the semifinals, they will face the winner of the match between top-seeded American-British duo of Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury and fifth-seeded German-Kiwi pair of Tim Puetz and Michael Venus. The Indo-British pair had defeated seventh seeds Dutch-British team of Wesley Koohlof and Neal Skupksi 2-6, 6-3, (12-10) in the first-round match. They went past American pair of Taylor Fritz and Sebastian Korda with a 6-4, 6-7 (7), (10-7) win in the pre-quarterfinals. BAV RKM
